Background
Twenty-five years leading transformation across healthcare, financial services, property, education, and government. The through-line is the same in all of them: technology decisions with real consequences, organisations that needed to change faster than they were built to change, and boards that needed to govern things they did not fully understand yet.
Momen Labs has operated since 2014 – over a decade of strategic advisory and interim executive engagements alongside C-suite roles. The practice has run continuously, taking engagements in AI strategy, digital transformation, technology operating models, and enterprise architecture.
Deputy Chancellor of the University of Wollongong, chairing the Digital & AI Committee and overseeing major technology investment programmes globally. Non-Executive Director of Westmead Hospital Foundation. Based in Sydney. The practice takes a small number of engagements at any given time, which is how it stays useful.

The value comes from having been on both sides of the table – accountable for technology delivery as an executive and CEO, and responsible for governing it as a board director. The questions asked, the risks surfaced, and the assumptions challenged look different from that vantage point.
